BIG KAISER announces Hydraulic Chuck Jet Through for precise clamping with efficient coolant supply

BIG KAISER, a global leader in premium high- precision tooling systems and solutions for the metalworking industries, announces the Hydraulic Chuck Jet Through, a new hydraulic chuck that provides efficient coolant supply directly to the cutting edge, routed through the cutting tool or its periphery.

Due to the hydraulic system, runout is very low and remains low even after intensive use. Hydraulic chucks compress an internal membrane in the holder body, to apply uniform pressure around the cutting tool – thus optimizing concentricity and minimizing runout.

Clamping with the new chuck is easy, fast, and safe, making it simple to change tools in the machine. With no hot clamping machines, holder life is extended indefinitely, saving money and reducing the environmental impact of holder replacement, as compared to shrink-fit holders.

Part of BIG KAISER’s HDC (hydraulic chucks) series, the new chuck provides precise clamping in the range of 4mm to 12mm, with the extremely accurate and innovative BIG CAPTO interface.

The Hydraulic Chuck Jet Through is available now for BIG CAPTO C5 and C6 machine spindles and for BBT 30/40/50, BDV40, and HSK 63 spindles.
