Exhibitors expect investments and look forward to personal customer contact
The cutting industry is optimistic about Cutting World 2021, which was originally planned for April 2020. Now the only trade fair focusing on cutting will open its doors at Messe Essen from April 20 to 22, 2021 and is attracting considerable interest from exhibitors and visitors alike. After the year 2020 was marked by numerous postponements and cancellations, the coming Cutting World is moving into the focus of many companies who want to catch up on investments and maintain personal contact with business partners. Interested exhibitors can find the registration documents at www.cuttingworld.de, the closing date for registration is 23 February 2021.
"The Cutting World in April 2021 – focused on the topic of cutting and designed for the German-speaking countries – is the ideal market place for users and suppliers for us in the current situation. We at IHT Automation are looking forward to the exhibition and the congress," says Kurt Nachbargauer, Managing Director at IHT Automation. Michael Roser, Sales Manager at Boschert, is also looking forward to the trade fair with great anticipation: "Especially when it comes to products that require a lot of explanation, we need personal exchange. I am very pleased that Cutting World will probably be one of the first platforms to make this exchange possible again".
Matthias Schad, Head of Sales at Eckelmann, adds: "Digital networking starts with the fact that experts can personally exchange ideas and develop industry visions at trade fairs and congresses such as Cutting World. With this in mind, we are looking forward to a successful Cutting World in spring 2021, where we will present FactoryWare MMS. The Machine Management System from Eckelmann enables a manufacturer and technology independent networking of machines in medium-sized businesses".
Tried and tested hygiene concept with distance and mask obligation
Subject to the then valid Corona Protection Ordinance, the Cutting World will thus be one of the first occasions for many exhibitors and visitors to meet up in person again. The hygiene concept of Messe Essen, which has already been successfully tested at several trade fairs, plays an important role in this respect. Among other things, this currently provides for online registration, compulsory masks and the known minimum distance. Depending on whether and which requirements apply to trade fairs in April, the concept will be adapted again.
Cutting World is the only trade fair that focuses on the entire cutting process chain. Here visitors experience all important aspects around cutting technology, cutting units, sheet metal processing technology and numerous other areas. Parallel to the trade fair, the German Cutting Congress will take place in the adjacent congress rooms, thus enabling the combination of theory and practice. The motto of the congress in 2021 is "The next cut". In addition to high-performance cutting technologies, the focus will be on Industry 4.0 and the use of artificial intelligence as new key factors for success.
