Techne Summit Dubrovnik

Techne Summit Dubrovnik is a two-day immersive experience that brings together investors, entrepreneurs and innovators from the Mediterranean entrepreneurial ecosystem in Croatia’s most famous historic town.

This year is the second Dubrovnik edition and will take place on May 3-4th at the Hotel Dubrovnik Palace.

Techne Summit has been organized in Alexandria, Egypt since 2012 and last year’s edition held in Alexandria brought together 6,000 attendees, 130 speakers, 80 investors, 230 startups and more than 66 partners all from 25 different countries.

With this year’s edition we aim to bring the stories of the Croatian entrepreneurial ecosystem to a global audience and solidify Croatia’s position as a vibrant entrepreneurial community.

Techne Summit Dubrovnik is supported by her Excellency, the President of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović. Our community partners include: Puzl Coworking from Bulgaria, Startup Zagreb from Croatia, Cleantech Arabia from Egypt, and Spark from Montenegro.

Techne Summit is rife with networking and pitching opportunities for Croatian startups to an international audience of investors.

We invite Croatian investors to attend Techne Summit and be part of the official launch of the first Mediterranean Business Angel Investment Network. The first organisation of its type, MBAN will unite Business Angel Networks, Groups and Funds, as well as individual Angel Investors from across the region.

Founded by Alex Angels and supported by Endeavor Egypt & Greece, “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit” (GIZ) on behalf of the German Government,  HIVOS Impact  Investment, African Business Angel Network (ABAN), and COIN (MCIT), MBAN aims to expands its scope and support investors and startups and to remove barriers to trade between the all across all Mediterranean countries, both from the EU, the Maghreb and North Africa.
